In the summer of 2007, a new and innovative retail concept hit the North Park neighborhood fulfilling a much-needed niche in San Diego. Specializing in contemporary furniture, home accents as well as men's clothing and accessories, owners and life partners, Ari Clare and Alex Wheeler, decided to open House Boi.
Ari, who has been the General and District Manager of several national and local home furnishings, retail and interior design companies, brings exceptional knowledge of what customers are looking for. In fact, prior to relocating to San Diego, Ari owned an interior design firm called the Palmcroft Design group in Phoenix, Arizona. His partner, Alex, has twenty years of experience with major financial institutions bringing technology knowledge and assisting with the website, e-commerce option and point of sale items. Thus, House Boi was born with its unique product line and exceptional service.
Showcased in a modern North Park space is a moderately priced selection of contemporary furniture, upholstery and accessories such as lamps, area rugs, throw pillows, vases, wall art as well as sculpture. Even more, House Boi offers full interior design services to assist with any stage of design, whether it is a new home or freshening up an existing space. The design service includes space planning, furniture selection, fabric selection, paint, custom window treatments and delivery and installation.
