Papyrus, the Paper Palace

Published : 8/17/2006 by admin admin

“Papyrus” is derived from the term for the earliest form of paper, crafted from the papyrus plant. But paper isn’t all this popular chain sells. The store offers an sprawling variety of creations including custom-printed announcements, greeting cards, gift wrap, gift bags, stationery, journals and exceptional gifts for everyone on your list. The products available range from the cute to the exquisite, and the range of handmade paper is remarkable.

The company is over fifty years old, founded by Marcel and Margrit Schurman of Schurman Fine Papers. Originally, the Shurman’s displayed their unique paper products in a gallery setting. Word got out, of course, and now their descendant company, Papyrus, boasts 150 stores across America. Each store retains that art gallery grace, with gentle lighting, and carefully planned arrangements.

Papyrus considers themselves “the destination for celebrating life and all of its moments.” Among the products listed above, they indeed offer cards to celebrate every occasion, from the smallest spills to the grandest engagements. For frequent purchasers, they have implemented Perfect Card Rewards Program. For only a $10 initial fee, paper-lovers and those who love them will enjoy in-store rewards all year long.

Paper Frenzy

I love Papyrus. I buy all of my cards, journals and paper here. The quality is great and the atmosphere is charming.

Make things special with Papyrus

I love, love, love making presents look pretty. So whenever a special occasion comes around where I need to get someone something, I always turn to papyrus for that special card or unique looking gift bag. It just gives it that extra special touch, you know? I always find something when I go to Papyrus.
