Ever wish that a boutique filled with clothing, accessories, jewelry, and art would magically appear on your doorstep?
Your wish can be granted with the first traveling boutique of its kind, Hitch Couture. Founder Jeanne Landau engineered this swanky mobile boutique nestled inside a restored 1966 Airstream trailer to cater to the San Diego fashionably aware.
Based in Los Angeles, but traveling anywhere from Santa Barbara to San Diego to outdoor markets, private parties and nightclubs, Hitch Couture can be rented for birthday parties, bachelorette parties or a fashionista afternoon – for free. This traveling boutique comes to your house, spreads out the green astroturf carpet and lines the walkway with potted flowers to create the ultimate shopping experience.
The beautifully decorated 19-square-foot store comes complete with a small fitting room at one end, a mini counter at the other and shelving in between, converted into little display cases that show off earrings, bracelets, hats, handbags, and other accessories.
Hitch Couture's collection of men's and women's merchandise comes from emerging designer brands from all over the United States and Canada, including Landau's own I Hate Labels line. Other original designers and lines include 11:11 Enterprises, Abnormal Urban Clothing, again NYC handbags, Amber Churchill, Anonymous Apparel, Diggers, Flopi, Funklectic, Handmade Julz, Harlow, Lazy Lifestyle, Modern Planet, Nichole Angelina Grazioli, Off Ramp, and Rock-N-Role.
