Trending: Disney buys Star Wars Franchise

Disney announced on Tuesday that they had purchased Lucas Films for upwards of $4 billion which included exclusive rights to the Star Wars Franchise. Besides the rights to the existing films, Disney plans to create an entirely new Star Wars Trilogy which will extend the story line of the original three films. The seventh film is set for release in 2015.
